Business Development Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outbound calls to C-level Executives and key decision makers;
  • Set quality meetings utilizing a conversational approach that uncovers and qualifies new business opportunities;
  • Develop a good understanding of our clients’ business, their unique challenges and the competitive landscape in their industry;
  • Work with our Executive Sales team to optimize these meetings for content, timelines and effectiveness

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience managing, leading, selling to, conversing with or prospecting C Level contacts at mid-market companies, large companies, and Fortune 500 companies for another implementation based management consulting firm;
  • Advanced proficiency and knowledge in MS Office Suite;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a strong eloquent value proposition, understand and qualify a client’s needs, assess business issues/pain points, and set qualified sales meetings;
  • Business-to-Business direct-marketing experience in the energy, financial services, or healthcare sector;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills; articulate and creative;
  • Reliable, strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised;
  • A sense of urgency and commitment to do what it takes to get the job done;
  • Good judgement and excellent decision-making skills;
  • Assertive, financially driven and a self-starter;
  • Availability to travel on an occasional basis
